Wildwych Clio was bred by Sue Clarke's Glenormiston Stud and was imported in utero from Australia by Mary Prewitt of Wildwych Connemaras in Colorado.

Clio's sire, Castle Baron, known as Henry after his breeder Henry O'Toole, has won many Supreme Championships in both Connemara classes and against all pony breeds in Australia since his arrival from Ireland as a 2 year old. He is as renowned for his circus tricks as he is for his excellent, typey get.

Clio's dam Amelia is a Premium Mare with both the APCS and the German Riding Pony Verband and has competed successfully on the line. She is bred on some of the best performance lines in Australia: her sire Domo Cavallo Praize evented to preliminary, did combined driving and was unbeaten on the line. Amelia is owned by Redbud Ranch, CA where she is an excellent broodmare.

Clio has been started under saddle and with her great, calm temperament, she's very easy to work with. She is also a proven broodmare and we hope she crosses well with Mick in the future.
