Elphin Birdsong, or Birdie, is the first of Mick and Abby's foals. Born in 1999, she is 13.2 and was bright bay but turned grey.

Birdie was sold as a yearling to Elizabeth Oldridge and family at Wyndridge Farm in Fenelon Falls, Ontario.

In 2008 and 2009 Birdie was evented sucessfully at the pre-entry and entry levels by Elizabeth's daughter Christine and son Colin.
Birdie at Checkmate Horse Trials, 2008, 4th Pre-Entry Jr.
Birdie passed ACPS inspections held at Elphin Mountain Farm in September 2004. Birdie had a purebred bay colt in 2006 by Irish Park's Caraway Finn.
