Elphin Capella is the third foal out of Elphin Cassiopeia (reg. QH) by Mick and was born in 1998. This mare is 15hh and was named after a star to match her mother's name. Like her siblings, she's a great mover with a powerful but floating stride.

In 2003 Cappy was bought by Sue Hoban and is now her hunt horse, as Sue whips in for the Ottawa Valley Hunt. Sue says she's a tough-minded mare, perfect for a day out hunting! In May of 2004, Cappy was joined by her 3/4 brother Elphin Celtic Spice, who will be Sue's daughter's pony.
