Elphin Domnach Casja

Elphin Domnach Casja, or Cosh as he is common known, is the first of Mick and Friday's foals.

Cosh was born in 1992 and is a 14.1hh palomino roan gelding. His name is Gaelic for Easter Sunday, the day upon which he was born, along with Elphin Sunday Surprise, a QH cross filly.

Cosh was sold to Chris Carey in Quebec, and was ridden by her daughter Hillary Lecluse for several years. Hillary and cosh competed in events and Pony Clubbed together.

When Hillary outgrew Cosh, he was sold on to New York as a dressage mount.

In 2003 Cosh was sold on again to Nancy Haines of Ashby, Maine. He was intended as a Pony Club mount for her daughters, but has inspired Nancy to start riding again and take up dressage! Although not a beginners ride, Nancy hopes that her kids will grow into Cosh, who loves children.
