Elphin Kieran is a 1993 grey (born dun) Welsh Connemara cross gelding. Kieran is out of the grade Welsh mare Elphin Heidi, who was only 12.2hh - however he grew to 14hh.
He was purchased by the Jenkins family in New Hampshire as a lifelong family friend, and a buddy to their two Morgan geldings. Kieran won the halfbred Connemara gelding class at the Port Jarvis Dressage Festival, where he was also Champion Gelding Suitable for Dressage. Kieran has been broken to ride and drive.

Dressage Festival
In 2008 Kieran competed in the Southern New Hampshire
Dressage & Combined Training Association where he came 1st in Training
Level Young Rider and 1st in Pre-Novice Young Rider at year end awards. He
was also 7th in the Novice division of the 2008 New England Hunter Trials.
