Aragon is a 2003 grey gelding out of Holly Day, a Welsh/QH mare. Although both his dam and sire are large ponies, Aragon grey to full horse size. He was bred by the McMullens of Sunset Farm in Stittsville Ontario.

Aragon is currently owned by the Popiels, an eventing family from Carleton Place, Ontario. He had good placings at training and preliminary levels with Hilary in the summer of 2009.
