Betelgeuse is a 2001 colt, born dark bay. He is out of a Hackney/Welsh mare, Cricket, and is owned by Christina Sully of Jones Falls, Ontario. Betelgeuse and his dam attended the 2001 ECCPA Connemara Show at Hawkridge Farm, where he placed first in the 1 & Under Halfbred Line Class.

This pony has a new home near Balderson, Ont., and is now known as Max, which his new owners say is a bit easier to pronounce! He has learned to drive and is doing well.
