Handweaving by Heather Sherratt

With over 30 years experience in the industry, Heather Sherratt is a production handweaver who specializes in creating unique items of women's clothing.

Using mainly natural fibres, Heather's pieces are vibrantly coloured and contain a variety of weaves and textures. Ranging from full-length winter coats in wool, to light, summery cotton tops, these handwoven garments will compliment any type of wardrobe.

Until 2005 Heather raised a flock of sheep with coloured fleeces on her farm in eastern Ontario; she still uses their wool in some of her work. For the first time in many years, Heather will be attending Ottawa's premier craft show, the Originals Christmas Craft Show from December 13-18, 2011.

Available in several stores and at various craft shows and tours, Heather's weaving makes excellent gifts for family and friends or yourself!
